In 2012 the mint produced special loonies to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the awarding of the Grey Cup for the best team in the CFL. This listing offers single loonies in 2 x 2 holders--I am taking the coins direct from a mint fresh roll.    It weighs 6.27 grams and is 11 sided and minted in 3-ply brass plated steel. 


When the first Grey Cup tournament was played in Toronto in 1909 before 3800 spectators, few could foresee that one day the championship would be watched, celebrated, and obsessed over by millions. The year 2012 marks the 100th Grey Cup tournament, a game celebrated by a 9-day festival in Toronto, Ontario.


Note that the photos I post in my listings are all from my own inventory.  However, for items like this one where the products are brand new from the mint and are identical the photo posted in the listing is a STOCK photo meaning that the photos represent the item you will be getting.  Normally there is almost no difference between the photo you see in the listing and the actual product you are sent.
