Previously opened. The underhood tape is gone, so this might have been removed from the box at one time. It does not look like it has been displayed. I acquired this from a dealer several years ago and I have stored it since. Box shows moderate wear and it has previous seller's price stickers on it.
The decal sheet is inside, but it has been folded somewhat, but I think they decals are still viable.
NOTE: This piece is a variation as it has the black wheels on it, not the chrome. I have an old DieCast Digest that lists black wheel version in Revell box as a variation. Revell also made the black wheeled version of this car for the Sports Image boxed version.
Regardless, a nice early Earnhardt piece to display and enjoy.
