We purchased this monitor to use with our cheese grater PowerMac in July 2004. We payed $1799 for the monitor. It was used in a home recording studio as a digital audio workstation. Then in 2010 we started house construction and music recording stopped. The PowerMac and monitor got boxed up at that time and put away inside our climate controlled home. Fast forward to 2023 and we started recording music again. The PowerMac was replaced with a "new" 2010 MacPro and we also purchased a giant 30 inch Cinema Display. So basically, this is a monitor that has seen no use for over a decade.

This 23 inch display we have for sale was plugged into our MacPro for the photographs. I used an on-line dead pixel finder tool, and could find no dead pixels on the display. There is a small scratch on the front bezel near the Apple logo - I took a picture of it. The USB ports and FireWire 400 ports on the display work. The control buttons for brightness and power on the right side of the display work. This item includes the original power supply brick and power cord. Also included are documentation.

We kept the original box and it is included in the sale. Apple shipped the display to us without an "over box" and that is how we will ship it to you - placing the shipping label right on top of the shipping label used by Apple. It will be shipped with tracking and insurance. Alternatively, you can pick up the purchased monitor here in southwest Virginia and save on shipping - its a heavy package that weighs 24 pounds.
