Antique SSMC Sterling Silver MFG Co. Berry Spoon
The Sterling Silver MFG Co. is an obscure silversmith and was based in Providence Rhode Island 1909-1932. Samuel A Schreiber, President. They were well known for their souvenir spoons but also produced flatware and hollowware sterling pieces.
Pretty but unidentified Pattern. Measures 6 7/8" long x 2 1/4" wide bowl.
The repousse bowl is scalloped and the handle is pretty heavy.
One scalloped edge has a tear in the silver...looks to be an old one at the tarnish has settled in. Spoon polished up pretty nice!
