Overhaul food plot mix is a unique food plot mix comprised of Buckwheat, Spring Triticale, Crimson Clover, Balansa Clover and Tillage Radish that can be planted in the Spring and Fall and is not only designed to attract deer, but also offers plenty of soil improvement characteristics as well. Because of its ease of use and dual purpose, Overhaul is a great plot for establishing a first-time food plot location or a rotational crop to help boost the soil in-between plantings. Overhaul can grow in adverse soil conditions and will help suppress weeds, break up compaction, fixate nitrogen, increase water infiltration, enrich and “fertilize” the soil by mining potassium and phosphorus and offers increased microbial growth for future plots.
