Introducing a NEW, After-Market, Custom, Micro Switch – Guaranteed to be an Exact Replacement for Thermador Cook-n-Vent 00414396, CVS36, CVS30 or similar!

Are you worried about having to replace your downdraft with one that costs $3,500? Have you been on a wild goose chase trying to find a replacement for your discontinued THERMADOR micro switch? Do you like your existing setup? Well, your search ends here!

I scoured the city, testing various versions to replace the original THERMADOR micro switch that has been out of production for years. After a relentless pursuit, I discovered a limited stock at a specialized supplier and purchased the entire inventory made especially for this Thermador replacement. Once these are gone, good luck finding these ever again.

Rest assured, you can buy with confidence knowing that I am using these switches myself without any issues, and the QUALITY IS THE SAME IF NOT BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. In fact, all my customers are thrilled with their purchase, please check my 100% feedback and buy with confidence! It's worth noting that the original, OEM switch was intentionally discontinued and seems like an unfair ploy to force owners into buying entirely new, over-priced downdraft. Even worse, new downdrafts are not the same size forcing customers to modify or replace their countertop; Imagine the cost! You can avoid this with a simple, inexpensive, direct replacement specialty switch. Same screw holes, same wires, same function, an easy and quick project.

This listing is for the switch used to control the snorkel motor, shutting it off when it reaches its travel limits. Keep in mind that each downdraft requires two switches, one to set the open limit and one to set the closed limit.

The switch is in excellent condition, 100% new and free from any and all issues. Don't bother with the used ones on Ebay, they never last long and cost more than mine. Enjoy years of additional use for nearly nothing! As a tip, be sure to clean and lubricate the unit and sliders to extend the downdraft life and further preserve your investment.

A few customers have reported the following: 1) The original wire connectors attaching to the old switch was burned/damaged. 2) In a few instances, Thermador used a narrower wire connector than the one being replaced. To address this, I've included a full set (3 per switch) of high-quality, female wire connectors that seamlessly slide onto the new switch. If you would rather have the switch connector filed so that you can use your original wire connector as-is, please specify this in your note to me. No problem either way.

Here's a video to test your limiter switch as well as the activation switch, despite being a different model, the principle is the same:

Act fast, as these switches are NO LONGER MANUFACTURED for Thermador and have become nearly impossible to find. In fact, I am the only Ebay vendor selling new, direct replacements; everyone is selling old, used scrap.

NOTE: I INTEND TO RAISE MY PRICES IN 2024 AND REMOVE THE VOLUME DISCOUNT. CONSIDER MAKING YOUR PURCHASE BEFORE THAT HAPPENS TO SAVE $$!
