Made in 1994 on commission for Saudi Arabia, rumor has it that they were deemed too perfect for the client and thus blasphemous.  The entire production run with the exception of 1000 pieces was accordingly destroyed. For many years these puzzles changed hand for prices approaching $1000. Now with Wrebbit back in business and reissuing some of the classics of it’s past; Eiffel Tower, Norte Dame, etc. prices have once again dropped, although it is hard to envision a rerelease of this one.
