This kit enables you to replace the worn or cracked backing plate on your original Honda or aftermarket clutch basket.

After coming across this problem numerous times during routine clutch service work and full engine rebuilds we had these backing backing plates laser cut out of stainless steel.

This kit will also enable you to replace the worn out rubber dampers on your original Honda clutch basket.

These backing plates will bolt directly to most aftermarket clutch baskets.

When fitting these backing plates to original Honda clutch baskets the old backing plate will need to be removed by drilling or grinding off the rivet heads, pressing out the remainder of the rivets then taping the holes M5 to match the supplied stainless steel bolts.

We recommend that loctite is applied to the backing plate mounting bolts.
