Publisher’s yellow boards with green vignette to the front board and green spine lettering.

Price-clipped D/W with some closed tears to the top of the spine, with associated creases, chipped and faded from the bright yellow of the original publication. Protected in a mylar wrapper.

Yellow cloth with dark green lettering on spine, dark green silhouette on front board.

Four colour plates (including frontispiece) and two b&w drawings on each page of text.

Monty Woodpig (a hedgehog) has a lovely caravan but is lonely until he meets Millie Gonbysi (a dormouse).

The two marry and set out on a honeymoon trek to the seaside. They have several adventures that lead them to the conclusion that home in Foxglove Spinney is best.

Gift inscription in ink on front free endpaper, browning to edges of text block and end papers.
