A rarely available Bombay rosewood Model 4060 high sideboard/credenza designed by renowned Danish designer Ib Kofod Larsen for G-Plan.  Simple and distinctive lines with a nod to classical Chinese cabinets with the large split circular handles with upholstered leather faces; fine solid rosewood legs.

Kofod Larsen's original design dates from 1964 and was later revised, altering the under-frame. This model was made available for sale in 1966.

The right-hand cupboard contains a removable drinks tray, cutlery draw lined with grey baize and two further linen drawers. The left-hand cupboard has an adjustable shelf. The cabinet is set on a tall, elegant framework. The cabinet has been re-polished and there is a small veneer repair on the top and a slight mark on the left-hand leather handle ( both pictured) otherwise in very good condition.
