Arab Kohl Stick, Brass Kohl Container
This style of jar is popular make up style in Arab countries especially the Bedouin or the Gypsies people (not just), or in some countries in Africa they use the same idea, and in India as well.  Inside the jar they store the black eyeliner (kohol كحل) which is made of galena powder, and they use the stick (which is come with this jar or container, see the photos) to make eyeliner instead of the eye pencil or the other stuff in these days. 

Some people use the kohol or kohl the galena powder for kids when they are so little (boys and girls), coz they believe that this would  protect them against evil eye.
