The Keenland Walking Ring is a historical landmark located in Lexington, KY. The racetrack opened in 1936 and was established on John Oliver (Jack) Keene's property. Keene was a spirited and successful Thoroughbred trainer in Russia and Japan in the early 1900s. The property included a 1 &  1/6 mile track and a nearly completed stone building which was adapted to be a clubhouse.  The Walking Ring is a place where riders and attendants intermingled in preparation for the race. This vibrant print is professionally matted and framed in wood.  It is in new preowned condition with some nicks in the frame polished out.
