Esta subasta es por una ( 1 ) medalla sobre la UNIVERSIDAD DE PUERTO RICO CAMPUS DE BAYAMON, en homenaje al sistema de educación superior público que es la Universidad de Puerto Rico en sus 11 campuses. Esta es una pieza perfecta para el alumno, ex - alumno, profesor, empleado no docente, público y admirador de nuestro excelente sistema universitario Boricua.
Este año continuamos la dedicatoria comenzada el 2015 de celebrar la labor de las entidades pública a través de una colección de medallas representativas de cada uno de los 11 campuses del sistema universitario público de Puerto Rico. A traves de esta subasta usted recibirá únicamente la medalla del Campus o Recinto mencionado arriba. Le exhortamos observe las fotos de las otras medallas de campuses del sistema UPR, disponibles por separado. Si gusta alguna de las otras medallas, búsquela en nuestra tiendita ebay.
ANVERSO:
Un anverso presenta el escudo actual de la institución arriba mencionada, en este caso la del CAMPUS DE BAYAMON de la Universidad de Puerto Rico.
REVERSO:
Muestra un reverso común a todas las medallas de esta serie, la cual consta del escudo oficial del sistema educativo de la Universidad de Puerto Rico.
BORDE:
Muestra un borde liso en el cual se lee la siguiente inscripción: "PUERTO RICO MINT (email & teléfono) MEDALLAS & TOKENS 2018 / NUMERO DE SERIE "

COMPOSITION:
Each medal measures 1.5 inches in diameter ( 40mm, a hint bigger than a traditional Silver Dollar), and weights approximately 1 ounce of Steel alloy with chromed nickel finish with enamel, on the side of the University of Puerto Rico shield, and the specific University Campus subject on the opposite side. It is a limited production piece of only 100 pieces per University of Puerto Rico campus, with each piece individually numbered, right on its rim, see photos. It is sold by the number from the lowest to the highest, unless a client requests a specific number, in as long as it is available Your medal will be shipped inside a plastic bag, then inserted in bubble wrap, cardboard, or similar padding material to ensure it arrives free of defects.
CAMPUS DE BAYAMON (Spanish)
La Universidad de Puerto Rico en
Bayamón (UPRB) se inauguró el 15 de agosto de 1971 con el nombre
de Colegio Regional de Bayamón, en virtud de la Ley Universitaria de
1966. No obstante, las actividades académicas del Colegio se iniciaron el
30 de agosto del mismo año.
El Consejo de Educación Superior en la Certificación 112 de
1978-79, cambia el nombre a Colegio Universitario Tecnológico de Bayamón.
La Junta de Síndicos por mandato de ley y por la Certificación 151 de 1997-98
modifica el nombre a Colegio Universitario de Bayamón. En 1998 la Junta
de Síndicos confiere todos los atributos, deberes y responsabilidades como
unidad autónoma dentro del sistema de la Universidad de Puerto Rico.
Actualmente se conoce como Universidad de Puerto Rico en Bayamón de acuerdo a
la Certificación 27 1999-2000 de la Junta de Síndicos.
Hoy dia el Campus Bayamonés es la tercera institución del
sistema público de educación superior con la mayor población estudiantil en
P.R.. Ofrece diversos grados a nivel de bachillerato, grados asociados y
programas de traslado. Para detalles específicos en cuanto a la oferta
académica, refiérase a la sección de departamentos y programas académicos.
La misión, visión y
metas de la UPRB como institución educativa residen
principalmente en facilitar a los (las) estudiantes la adquisición y el
desarrollo del conocimiento a través de las artes, las ciencias y la
tecnología, de forma que resulten en experiencias de aprendizaje duraderas y

The University of Puerto Rico at Bayamón (UPRB or UPR-Bayamón) is a state university located in the
municipality of Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
UPR-Bayamón is better known as CUTB from
its previous name of Colegio Universitario Tecnológico de Bayamón in Spanish.
It is the third largest campus in the whole UPR system in terms of population.
The university offers undergraduate programs. Offerings include
bachelor's degrees in: business administration (with minors
in accounting, finance, management or marketing), biology (with
minors in general biology or human focus), computer science, physical education (special physical
education and elemental physical education), electronics (electronics engineering technology), materials
science, pedagogy (Pre-school and Elementary School) and office
systems. UPRB also offers associate degrees in: electronics (Electronics
Technology and Instrumentation Technology), humanities (arts), Engineering
(Civil Engineering: Surveying, Civil Engineering: Construction, Industrial
Engineering Technology, Production Technology) and Office Systems. The
university also has transfer programs to other campuses in various programs
including: social sciences, humanities, engineering, pedagogy and chemistry.
This campus is also well known for their business administration programs
and computer science programs among others.
The extraordinary sporting achievements of the students and
their UPRB extracurricular activities related to music and theater are widely
acknowledged among the student population of the country. Also very popular is
its Extended University program designed for students who for various reasons
are unable to comply with a regular daytime schedule, as well as partnerships
with businesses and industries in the area where students can do internships
and practical programs before graduation. UPR-Bayamón excels in the Liga Atlética Interuniversitaria's (LAI)
Women Basketball, with an historic 10 consecutive championships, and
Cheerleading. Also, it holds first place 5 years in a row in the dance team's
competition.

Las antiguedades que vendemos tienen imperfecciones por vejez, uso y desgaste, que pudieran no reflejarse en las fotos. Por eso sólo reemplazaremos o devolveremos dinero en caso de mercancía recibida gravemente dañada. Clientes que abusen con reclamaciones exageradas e infundadas serán bloqueados en el futuro.

We’ll do everything we can to help you and get your 5 stars. Some medals or coins may be shipped inside plastic capsules as a courtesy of ours. Because you paid for a medal or coin, and not for an acrylic capsule, we are not to be held responsible over capsules received cracked or broken. Medals received from the factory will feature minor scratches or nicks over which we shouldn't be held responsible. Likewise, vintage items we sell may feature imperfections due to age, tear, and wear, which may not reflect on the photos. Due to this, we will only replace or provide refund on items received greatly damaged.
