I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only an excellent copy of my original Testors SENIOR 29 kit PLAN + a copy of the PARTS PATTERNS.

In the 1940s and 50s the Testors glue, dope and balsa company produced a series of great model airplane kits. They had the FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE, JUNIOR and SENIOR kits in .09. .19, and .29 engine sizes. Here is a copy of my original SENIOR .29 kit PLAN for nostalgia seekers.

These kit plans did not have all of the parts patterns on them. After many years I was finally able to acquire a good set of rib and former patterns and I include a copy with this listing. I show a nice picture of all of the kit parts laid out on a green background that will give any experienced scratch-builder all the ideas he needs to make up his own parts patterns and produce a nice new replica of this nostalgic old time stunt model.

Old Timer Tip: All of the fuselage formers were round and were slid into and rotated vertically on a full-length crutch. Then the preformed clam-shell sides were glued on to the fuselage. Today, you would plank the fuselage or wet-mold your own balsa clam shell sides. I include a copy of an old article that explains how these molded fuselage shells are made.

As a BONUS I also include a copy of a SENIOR 29 construction article as well as a vintage test report. You’ll not find a more thorough offering.

My last picture shows my copies of the SENIOR and JUNIOR .09 kit plans. I have almost all of the plans for the entire line of old Testors kits for those who are interested.

YOU ARE PURCHASING A NICE, CLEAN, WHITE, FULL-SIZE COPY OF MY ORIGINAL TESTORS SENIOR 29 KIT PLAN, PARTS PATTERNS, PLUS BONUS DOCUMENTATION FOLDED AND IN A MANILA ENVELOPE.
