This listing is for one 1991-92 Upper Deck Young Guns #Ty1 Ty Gretzky rookie card.

This card caught us by surprise. During our many years collecting and operating this store, we read about it on Beckett magazine, then various online collecting sites, but never thought we'd see it in person. We put a picture of it on Instagram not too long ago to show that it does exist! 

NEW INFO ADDED ---- We haven't able to find anything online about it other than an IMDB mention under Ty Gretzky's trivia page. but thanks to the people who have messaged us, the Ty Gretzky card was made by Upper Deck and given to Wayne Gretzky's family and friends. We cannot verify the amount made, but according to those who messaged us, it can be anywhere from 4 to 50 to even 100. 

Now Ty Gretzky is married and running a hockey school. Congrats on both!

This card has been getting a lot of attention. 

Already we've gotten a few questions and a handful of offers. We can only say so much that isn't in the description. If any of you out there have more info on this card, maybe an old Beckett article, please send it our way. So far three collectors have sent us a picture, so we know there are FOUR out in the wild, including one that is graded a 9 by BGS. A couple have said they have one but no pic. Glad we can bring back some memories!
