MEGO (the company best know for their line of "World's Greatest Super Heroes" action figures & toys) then you'll need this unusual item for your collection. Offered here is a decorative comb, with psychedelic graphics. It was made by the MEGO CORP. in the late 1960's or early 1970's. It is still UNUSED and still attached to the original card. (It originally had clear shrinkwrap, which is no longer present.) The card reads (in part): "His & Hers MOD KOOKY KOMB with MIRROR On Back...BE HIP AND GROOVY...IT'S WHATS HAPPENING...GET INTO THE SCENE...KNOW WHERE IT'S Manufactured Exclusively For The MEGO Corp...New York, Made In British Colony Of HONG KONG." The comb measures 7 & 1/2 inches long and 6 inches wide. Made of bright green plastic with white paint, and attached to thick yarn, so it can be worn as an accessory. (Great costume accessory is you're attending a retro-party as a "hippy".) The comb is in MINT condition, the card is FINE, with only minor wear. Plastic has small slit in seam on right see photos. Noticeable on the side not the front.
