Chirashi are mini-posters,
sometimes referred to as flyers or handbills, used to advertise movies in Japan.

This original issue chirashi poster from TOHO Cinemas in Japan features
the third installment
of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, but, it was also available to movie goers when
STAR WARS: EPISODE III - RETURN OF THE SITH was released in 2005.
It was made available inside the theater, at the time of the initial Japanese screening
several years ago, during the venue and now difficult to obtain.
This is an original issue chirashi handbill from Japan for the American space
epic opera film,
STAR WARS: EPISODE III - RETURN OF THE SITH.
The
chirashi features stunning artwork by Drew Struzan and includes details
such as the cast
Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman,
the director George Lucas,
and the date of premier July 9, 2005.
