Beautiful vintage or antique throw pillow. Burma became Myanmar after gaining its independence in 1949. It would stand to reason this pillow was made previous to this event. For its age the pillow is in immaculate, incredibly clean condition. The back is a green crushed velvet type material with a zipper and the front is all hand done needlepoint. It features a large palm tree with what looks like a bird of paradise below it and a butterfly above it. There is no damage that I see at all. It’s estate fresh from a wealthy Wellesley, MA home.
