Superb and Rare Marie Antoinette Clock & Garniture Set

Commissioned by Victoria & Albert Museum London and made by Franklin Mint

Absolutely amazing craftsmanship

In the shape of a lyre

Royal blue colour with white dial surrounded by all star signs; dome shape glass door with a good number of Swarosky crystals surrounding it; embellished with gold details and ormolu attachments.

The gorgeous side urns - “ Flowers Of Versailles Vase “ with a bunch of heavy gold plated flowers ( some of them are broken, but this is not noticeable )

Approx dimensions:

Clock - 39cm high x 18cm wide

Urns - 19.5cm high x 14cm wide

- 28cm high including the flowers

The clock is powered by a quality 8 days movement - Franz Hermle

Works as it should striking on two bells with a lovely sound every hour and on number of hours;

A very rare set, never seen one like this complete.
