Anti Tamper Removal SERVICE for the Weihrauch HW100, HW110 & HW44

by HW100Tuning

PLEASE NOTE: THIS LISTING IS NOT FOR A NEW HAMMER - IT IS FOR THE AT REMOVAL SERVICE FROM YOUR EXISTING HAMMER.

Send your Hammer Assembly to us (see pictures) and we will remove the anti tamper & return it to you.

HW110 & HW44:   If you have a HW110 or HW44, you may have noticed that the power has dropped after only a few months use - this is because the hammer springs that Weihrauch use in these guns are not pre-tensioned, once they have worn in, the power drops.  Just to add insult to injury, Weihrauch have locked the internal parts down on this gun so that you cannot get access to the hammer spring using conventional tools.

If you are confident in your ability to take the gun apart, send us the steel striker/shuttle assembly and we will remove the anti tamper and return the unit back to you to fit yourself.  Once the AT has been removed, you will be able to adjust the hammer spring tension to allow you to remain within the legal limit yourself at home very easily using our step by step guide - 4mm allen key supplied.

Return Shipping is via Special Delivery. Turn around time approx 2 days.

HW100:  If you don't have the tools or confidence to remove the AT yourself, send us the hammer assembly (see picture) and we will remove the anti tamper (AT) & include our Pro-Fit Hammer Spring Guide and return the unit back to you to fit yourself.  You will be able to adjust the hammer spring tension at home using a 7mm Allen Key (supplied) by following our short video.  You can remain within legal limits without having to send your HW100 away each time. Return Shipping is via Special Delivery.  Turn around time is approx 2 to 3 days.

THE LAW & YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:  It is completely legal to remove AT (Anti Tamper) from a UK Airgun. There is no & never has been any Law or Legislation regarding the fitting or removal of AT.  Originally, the MK1 HW100 didn't have anti tamper, it was free to adjust, it allowed you to stay in control of the power output and allow you to remain within legal limits. The MK2 and MK3 and newer models like the HW100BP have anti tamper fitted, so that you CAN'T adjust the power yourself, you have very little control of the power output, but if you are found to have an over-powered gun, YOU are the one that will be held accountable, not Weihrauch.

The power output of an Airgun in the UK is the sole responsibility of the owner/possessor. The legal limit for an air rifle is 12fpe (12 ft. lbs.) and 6fpe (6 ft. lbs.) for a pistol.  Breaking these laws will result in very harsh penalties including time spent at Her Majesties Leisure (Prison) and your gun being crushed. Just so we are clear, the power setting is YOUR responsibility, no one else's.  Removing the AT allows you to stay under the legal limit.
