Très bon étatArtiste de la vie parisienne de la Belle Epoque, Houbron s'illustre souvent avec une technique particulière : il colle un papier sur une toile puis il pose une couche de préparation (couleur blanche) puis travaille tantôt au crayon, tantôt à l'encre, tantôt à la gouache, parfois avec de la peinture à l'eau. Dans les catalogues des Salons, on retrouve souvent la dénomination "peinture à l'eau" pour la technique.

In the catalogs of the Salons, we often find the denomination "water-based painting" for the technique.
