Boeing F-18 Hornet Strike Fighter (English: Boeing F-18 Hornet Strike Fighter, also known as F/A-18) is a single-seat carrier
developed by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) for the U.S. Navy The twin-engine supersonic multi-role fighter is also a model
of the US military that has both fighter and attack aircraft identities. The F/A-18 "Hornet" belongs to the third generation fighter
in the generation, with excellent air, ground and sea attack capabilities. For this reason, as an important carrier-based aircraft for
the U.S. Navy, the F/A-18 has a wide range of uses. It can be used for both maritime air defense and ground attack. The aircraft
first flew in 1978 and entered service with the U.S. Navy in 1983.
