Hello and welcome to this very rare Scottish Pearlware  Flask, in the shape of a shoe or boot.  It is ceramic and glazed with black areas corresponding to the heel and shoe body, decorative multi-color sponge-ware applications for color, and black horizontal bands on one side to represent laces.  There is no manufacturers mark or indent indicating maker or country of origin. The shoe/flask stands 6 1/4 inches tall, is 7 1/4 inches long and 2 3/4 inches wide at its widest at the sole. It weighs 12 ounces before postal packaging. It has two chips at the top rim on one on the inside of the boot and the other on the outside. This can be seen in photographs 3,4,6,& 7. The remainder of the boot is in very good condition with not cracks.
