Beautiful pair of woofers, professionally reconed. Original gaskets in good shape.  The W15-4 was the original woofer model used in the 380se, CD90, and very similar to the W15-p woofers used in other Cerwin models. These were just reconed using new kits were developed specifically, exactly, for this woofer. Ribbed cone like the original and pleated accordion surrounds.  Precision voice coils, on ALUMINUM formers like the originals. Several years, and more recones than I can count went into developing these to provide kits that not only take the pounding that I know you're going to give them, but also match the t/s parameters of the originals. These kits are different from the other kits available for these woofers,  in several ways. All the other kits I have seen, use the 5H2040 cones. Those cones were originally developed for the eh series woofers, which were very different. They used a smaller spider which sat down inside the typically used landing, so those 5h2040 cones at 3.825 deep, are too deep to sit properly when using the correct spider. Also, since those EH series woofers were used as a midbass in sound reinforcement tops, those cones are extremely thin and light. About 26 grams, which is half of the original W15-P/W15-4 cone weight. Plus the surround ribbing has much shallower ribs, limiting excursion. These new Brew City kits solve all those issues. A close look at the surround, and comparing these to the originals, and the other kits out there, will tell the story. Plus these cones are much stiffer, and weigh in at 52g. The frames and motors on these are ATW15, which are identical in every way to the frames and motors on the W15-4. So while they say ATW15, these have all the W15-4 parts in them, so are functionally identical. I forgot to take pics before packing these up, but there are about 6 or 7 small holes which someone drilled into the frame casting. I sealed these up with epoxy. These aren't in a visible area, and in no way will effect the sound, or integrity of the casting If it leaves my shop, it's good to go, without rubs, rattles, or issues, and ready to rock, guaranteed.  Over 20 years on ebay, selling mostly speaker stuff, and mostly Cerwin Vega drivers, kits, and parts, with 100% positive feedback. I pack like they're gonna drop it from a plane, and ship out within one day either USPS or FedEx. Thanks!
