Vintage novelty decoration for a home bar, these Chadwick novelty bar lamps were often seen in the nineteen sixties with personalized globes. This 10 1/2" (26.67 cm) lamp features a tuxedo and top hat wearing drunk swinging off a pole lamp. The clear plastic  globes were decorated in red featuring the words "Bar" with "portraits" of the proprietors as a turn-of-the-century-dressed couple and the legend "Have a drink with". Often they were not personalized, but this one delightfully names the original owners as "John & Lil DeCastro" in a cursive script. In very good used condition, with original label, 4 watt (maximum) bulb, new plug, wiring and an easy on/off thumbwheel switch.
