Dance Dance Dance, Haruki Murakami

First American edition, first printing, and the first edition in English, of Murakami's celebrated sixth book. Signed by the author to the half-title page with his name stamped in Japanese below.

New York: Kodansha International, 1994. Publisher's original black paper-covered boards over black cloth spine, lettered in gilt, pink and blue endpapers; pp. (vi), 393. A near fine copy in a near fine, unclipped dust jacket. Binding remains tight, sturdy and square. Spine tips lightly softened, faint foxing to top edge of text block, very minor bump to bottom edge of text block. The dust jacket remains bright and vivid, show a touch of shelfwear and a couple tiny nicks to the front panel. A very presentable copy of this early Murakami novel, scarce signed, protected in archival mylar.
