Carburetor Bowl Gasket for Kohler engines. Kohler no longer sells parts for the carburetors of many of their engines. My engine was in good shape but could not be used because the bowl gasket was leaking fuel on the engine. I was faced with an unusable mower because of 1 gasket. I was able to locate a supply of gaskets that worked for this application and now I can continue to get use out of this tractor.
My engine is a Kohler model M20QS rated at 20HP, but this carburetor was used on other engines. If your carburetor bowl matches theses measurements, this gasket should work as a replacement for a leaking or damaged gasket on your engine.
The outside diameter of the mating surface needs to be 2.375"
The Inside diameter of the carburetor bowl can be no larger than 2.51"
The gasket material cross section is .066" - just slightly over 1/16". Note: The old gasket is likely distorted and can't be accurately measured.
This gasket will not work if the aluminum bowl is dented or distorted. The bowl must be undamaged to make this gasket seal.
