Lovely authentic and proper antique. Beautifully cast with mythological scenes of Neptune in various poses. Typical Victorian Renaissance Revival pierced decoration.
Not sure if the gilding is original or not. It's certainly old and had a lovely warm and worn patina.
Looks great, especially in a warm light.
Make a great little fruit bowl or bonbon dish.
Priced well below comparable dishes by Coalbrookdale. They generally get listed between £95 and £200.
Has an applied iron strap on the base which i think would of had an Registration Number on it.
