We are pleased to offer this Stanley No. 48 tongue and groove plane from our own personal collection.  As shown, this is an early type model with a japanned finish and the July 6, 1875 patent date.  Still retains most of its original japanning.  Seldom are these early type No. 48 planes found in this condition.
