This is a lightly used Hoya 52mm Skylight 1B Filter which is perfect for outdoor photography. I bought this filter in 1986 to use on my now ancient Sony camcorder - something that I treated with utmost care back then when it was useful. For the past 25+ years the camcorder has been stored unused in its protective attache-style case with the filter installed. I removed the Hoya skylight filter from the camcorder today, and am selling it separately from the camcorder which will be listed later. 

The Hoya skylight filter is in excellent condition. I can find no flaws in it anywhere. The glass is clean without any defects in the coating. The outside surface of the threaded metal ring has a nice anti-reflective black finish with white lettering. Included is the original protective plastic case with the PROMASTER logo on it - I assume that PROMASTER made the filter under subcontract to Hoya.
