Nice pair of triangular shaped vases in silver plated.
Manufactured in 1895-1903 by the German company WMFB.

On the seabed (presence of sailboat and seagulls on
2 sides of the vase), a Dutch scene where two children
peasants kiss and its counterpart where the 2 children
separate with a windmill in the background. A
allegory about the happiness and sadness generated by love.
Made of metal, with an oxidized silver finish.

Each vase is engraved “WMBF OX” under the base.
OX stands for oxidized. Corresponding with an
artificially oxidized metal finish.

2 faces du vase), une scène hollandaise où deux enfants
paysans s 'embrassent et son pendant où les 2 enfants
se séparent avec en arrière scène un moulin à vent. Une
allégorie sur le bonheur et la tristesse engendrés par l' amour.
En métal, avec une finition en argent oxydé.
