ORIG'L, RARE WWI Signal Corps Aviation Section Officer's Collar Insignia SALE!

​This is an ORIGINAL officer's collar insignia for those officers/pilots assigned to the Army's Aviation Section of the Signal Corps squadrons during WWI prior to May, 1918.  Hence, the crossed signal flags with the super-imposed silver wings. The insignia is in VERY GOOD condition with a small pinback attachment.  Here's an opportunity for the WWI Air Service collector or re-enactor to obtain an insignia for the collection or his impression.  The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and satisfaction and a five-day (not the 14-days that they insert in my listings without my consent) right of inspection and return/refund privilege, excluding postage. PLEASE NOTE:  The insignia will be first class mailed in a padded envelope at an approximate postage of $5, rather than the more expensive priority mail, with the unused postage being refunded after mailing.
