A Custom Made 'World War 2 Spit Fire Pilots' Style Homage Quartz Watch

Based on the actual watches worn by Royal Air Force Spit Fire Pilots during World War 2

Especially in 'The Battle Of Britain' 

6b/159 was the stores code this type of watch was given by the Royal Air Force

This watch is made with a Brand New Aluminium Case with a High Domed Acrylic Crystal.

I used this type of case/metal as thought it would be homage not just to the Pilots but

also to the Aircraft itself, as the Spitfire was also made from Aluminium.

Please Note, 

This watch is extremely light compared to stainless steel watches but.. Aluminium is 

extremely strong for its weight, anti magnetic & is also resistant to corrosion.

Hence it was used to make the Spitfire With.

You will be wearing the same as what was flying, so will understand how crucial it was 

to use a lightweight but strong material, this is also what made the Spitfire so 

successful and fast,. especially when turning.

It also ages very well which will add to the Authentic look the original watches had.

'Give it hell' as it will look better the more scratched it gets.

As Churchill said "When your going through Hell.... Keep Going"
