Lovely vintage cameo brooch with an unusual construction in thick textured old plastic. It has 1940s look to my eye and the quality suggests it is possibly French or American. The head is very well detailed in mottled cream on a dark grey slightly textured ground, then there's a layer of the cream plastic below. Viewed from the side it appears to be carved but the head looks moulded.
