This watch was given to me by my father over 50 years ago. It was worn on a few occasions, but, mostly sat in my jewel box. The 17 jewel Elgin watch is lovely with small diamonds surrounding the encasement and 4 larger diamonds at each end. The larger diamonds are about 2mm each. The watch has a black cord band and there is a safety latch inside the clip clasp. The back is as picture with the 14Kt Gold marking and Jaskay. The watch movement reads: Elgin 313, unadjusted, Swiss, 17 jewels. The inside of the encasement reads: Elgin National Watch Co #1637823, cased and timed, #81414H.
The watch will fit a 6" wrist. This watch is a daily wind watch; it is running fast. There is an adjustment -/+ area on the movement for adjusting timing. I have not attempted to do that. The watch, band and encasement with diamonds weighs 11.3 gms.
