This is a very unique and rare, solid oak wood cane back Drexel Banker's Chair with seat cushion in used but very good condition. It has no tears, scratches, or rips to the seat. The cane has no damage. The chair is quality-made, heavy, and rolls super well even on carpet. The chair swivels and there is a knob for height adjustment. It also leans back comfortably but only with body weight. It bounces back easily if pressure is released. It is not a recliner. The chair is made of metal and solid wood. The seat is leather like with a foam cushion. There is a small chip on the left arm (barely noticeable) and some slight varnish wear on the wood. Please see images. The label on the underside is half legible but the Reg No. reads "Va. 5940 (NC)" which per records was assigned to Drexel. I gather this chair was produced sometime in the 60s or early 70s. Dimensions in inches: Chair seat 18.5" Wide in front x 17" Depth, Chair back height 36.5" High from floor to top of chair, Chair width at bottom (legs if parted side to side 27" wide), Chair arms height 27" high, Length of arm chairs from left to right 22". Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Local pickup only. I am willing to compromise on the pickup place within Houston.
