From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Rare 1838 Nathaniel Mills BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER CARD CASE.

This lovely, extensively hand chased and decorated CARD CASE weighs approximately two ounces (55 grams) and measures approximately 2 ¾” X 3 5/8”. As shown, it has a hinged lid which is in perfect working condition. This is in excellent antique condition with no defects that I note other than a small dimple on the bottom which no one will ever see. The bottom is marked for Nathaniel Mills and the date 1838. All of my silver has been lightly polished for its photo shoot and all my silver items will benefit from additional polishing.

I recently purchased a small collection of English sterling cases so please stay tuned both for those as well as for what I hope is an interesting selection of other vintage and antique items.

I'm happy to combine items to reduce overall postage for people who want to purchase multiple items. If you do, please ignore the automated invoice you'll get from ebay and message me that you're still shopping and would like a combined invoice when you're through. And then message me when you've finished shopping.
