The well-known Fethersone Tobin painting of the US Battleship Maine under way has been adapted for this item. The picture is glassed front and back and an image of an explosion placed behind the print. When the picture is held up to the light the explosion is superimposed on the print. The whole thing is held together by purple ribbon (for mourning). Quite possibly one of a kind. 

19" x 10". Overall very good condition. The rear glass is cracked vertically (see photo).
