Vinyl Grading System

Grading is done under a bright lamp and play tested.

Mint: A new, unused, undamaged record that is still sealed in shrink wrap. 

NM: No signs of handling by a previous owner under a grading lamp.

VG++: Very few slight imperfections under a grading lamp that don't affect playback. 

VG+: Signs of handling including surface scratches and scuff marks that are of a cosmetic nature and don't affect playback. 

VG: Imperfections on the vinyl affect the sound but they will not overpower the ability to enjoy the recording. VG records do not skip anywhere during playback.

G: Imperfections on the vinyl are enough to interfere with the enjoyment of the recording. G records do not skip anywhere during playback.

Vinyls are shipped in premium record mailers with flat cardboard inserts for rigidity.
