Mid century modern Herman miller 2nd gen PSCC, designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Featuring a patina’d “Parchment” colored fiberglass shell, sat upon a swiveling and rolling brushed aluminum base.

Rare find here, got a great addition to your MCM collection. I have it dated in the 60s due to there being no mark on the fiberglass shell, which is common for that era.

The chair is in used condition. The chair has picks and scratches, along with multiple instances of discoloring. Nothing structurally wrong with the shell, just cosmetics.

The base is aluminum and has many pits and parts where I believe water may have sat. Some of them are rough feeling. I tried to picture this the best I could.

The tilt mechanism works fine however the base and chair are not connected together- meaning they can easily be lifted apart. I’m not sure if this is how they came from the factory or not, but again, it can be used normally no problem.

Please see all pics before purchasing! Thanks!
