Shinkansen N700 Series 



Series N700 Shinkansen Bullet Train, introduced for Tokaido and Sanyo Sinkansen lines, is state-of-the art bullet train which is graded up in speed, amenities and energy cost-performance on the basis of Series 700. It started its operation in July, 2007, and now it runs between Tokyo and Hakata. Adding 4-car and 8-car add-on sets to the basic 4-car set, the 16 car configuration can be realized just like its prototype.


●N700 Shinkansen Bullet Train "Nozomi" 8-Car Base Set

The Series N700 debuted in 2007 as a next-generation, high-tech Shinkansen based on the Series 700, with advanced features in all aspects including speed, comfort, environmental performance, and energy conservation.

This product is a reproduction combining the existing 4-Car Basic Set and the 4-Car Add-On Set into a single 8-Car Basic Set. The set can be combined with "10-549 Series N700 Shinkansen 'Nozomi' 8-Car Add-On Set" to create a full 16-car formation.

・The aerodynamic double-wing nose is accurately represented.

・Equipped with a system which inclines the model train when it runs on a curve just like its prototype.

・The new all-surrounding diaphragm which connects cars almost without gap between them is represented.

・The distinctive full-width corridor connections between cars are accurately reproduced.

・The livery with a blue line on the white car body is beautifully recreated.

・Equipped with a "tilting system" that tilts the car body like a real car when passing through a curve.

・Smooth and quiet operations are made possible with the slotless motor.

・Head- and taillights are illuminated. The light can be seen from the side of the car, true to the prototype.
