Features

19 Micron Video Heads: The 19 Micron video heads provide better picture quality from EP tapes.

Auto Clock Set: This VCR can decode the time signals that some TV and cable channels transmit. When the VCR picks up a time signal, it will automatically set the time. The time can also be set manually.

Auto Tape Speed: This unit will automatically change the tape speed from SP to EP if recording time is longer than the remaining tape.

Commercial Skip: You may skip past a scene you don't want to watch by pressing the "Commercial Skip" button on the remote during playback. The VCR will skip past 30 seconds of tape (up to a maximum of 2 minutes) for each time you press the button and resume playback.

On Screen Menus: On-screen menus are used to help with settings adjustment and programming. You may set the unit to display the menus in English, Spanish, or French.

Child Lock Circuitry: After you have set the timer for recording, you can lock all of the buttons on the VCR so that the settings are not cancelled by mistake. The VCR will not work except for timer recordings until it is unlocked.

Scan and Play: This feature uses the unit's auto indexing to locate a desired point on the tape.  When the search button on the remote is pressed, the VCR will automatically advance to the next index mark and play about 5 seconds. If play is not pressed, the unit will search for the next index mark and continue in the same manner until it reaches the end of the tape. This function can be performed in both forward and reverse directions.

Blank Search: The unit will search and automatically stop at the beginning of a blank space.

Flash Rewind: The unit will rewind a T-120 videotape in about 60 seconds.
