INSTRUMENTS (NI) SCC-68 :
The National Instruments (NI) SCC-68 is a Terminal Block with four SCC slots. The SCC slots can be utilized
to integrate lowpass filter, strain gauge, RTD input, frequency input,
thermocouple, current input, voltage attenuator, load cell input,
accelerometer, SPDT relay, isolated voltage input SCC modules, and more into
the SCC system. Reach out to Select-Test.com for further assistance. . This Terminal Block comprises screw terminals and a general breadboard
section for I/O signal connection. The SCC-68 additionally has bus terminals for external power and
grounding. This Terminal Block is RoHS compliant.
The National Instruments SCC-68 is created for easy,
expandable desktop measurement systems. The NI SCC-68 provides a
simple signal link to M Series or E Series DAQ devices by NI. Other types of
68-pin devices may not operate correctly with the SCC-68. The SCC-68 can
be connected to DAQ devices with the use of an RC68-68, SHC68-68-EPM, or
SHC68-68 cable. The NI SCC-68 is fabricated with 68 screw terminals
for input/output signal interfacing. This Terminal Block has grooves
on the bottom of the enclosure so it can be stacked on top of other SCC-68
Connector Blocks. However, the SCC-68 cannot be safely stacked onto
another SCC-68 if the back rubber feet are affixed.
The NI SCC-68 has a temperature sensor linked to screw
terminals 70 and 71. To utilize the temperature sensor for cold-junction
compensation of thermocouple measurements, link CJC+ (terminal 70) to AI
channel 7. However, for the most precise thermocouple measurements, NI suggests
using an SCC-TC Series module. It has a power requirement of 1 mA at 5 VDC with
no signal conditioning installed, and a channel-to-earth maximum working
voltage of 11 VDC (CAT I).features screw terminals and a general breadboard
area for I/O signal connection, and bus terminals for external power and
grounding. The SCC-68 has four SCC slots for use in integrating thermocouple,
strain gauge, RTD input, frequency input, current input, voltage attenuator,
lowpass filter, load cell input, accelerometer, feedthrough, SPDT relay,
isolated digital I/O, and isolated voltage input SCC modules into the
measurement system.
NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS (NI) BNC-2080 :
The National
Instruments (NI) BNC-2080 is an Analog Breakout Board. The NI BNC-2080 is
available as an independent board as well as part of a kit with a 0.5 m or 1.0

to the BNC-208X Series of breakout boards. The BNC-2080 does
not need any external software except that provided for the DAQ board. This Analog
Breakout Board can be utilized with NI data acquisition boards for the
Macintosh NuBus (NB Series), PC/XT/AT and compatible computers, along with IBM
PS/2 Micro Channel (MC Series). This board is supported by different
operating systems like Windows and MAC.
The NI BNC-2080 is
designed as a breakout board with analog signal-marked BNC connectors. The BNC-2080 is
equipped for signal conditioning properties. The BNC-2080 is
developed to rationalize the analog-signal links and for some of the digital
signals. This board simplifies the connections of two user-defined to the
DAQ modules in Lab, as well as production with testing environments. The BNC-2080 can
be configured with 16 SE or eight differential analog input channels.
The NI BNC-2080 is fabricated with silkscreened instrument spaces for holding capacitors and resistors. The resistors and capacitors are used for developing voltage dividers and single-pole low-pass and high-pass filters. There are 24 BNC connectors that are used in the board. The BNC-2080 is available with the two male ribbon-cable connectors. These input/output connectors contain male 50-pins. The BNC-2080 Analog Breakout Board has power consumption at +5 VDC with the typical current of 12 mA and the maximum current of 750 mA from a dedicated host computer.
