This decorative bowl/centerpiece made by the master glass blowers at Jozefina in Krosno, Poland, is exceptional. It's a modern, art-glass form of a conch shell whose gloss and shape make it far more alluring than a real one. It is so lifelike the outside of the shell is ribbed to mimic the feel of one you would find on a reef or coast.

From left to right this shell measure 13.5 inches and stands close to 4 inches tall. From the curled part of the shell directly across to the tip of the shell's middle point it is 8.5 inches. Its rounded base underneath measures about 3.25 inches.

The original black sticker can be found on the underside of the piece in perfect condition. It says "Krosno Jozefina Hand Made in Poland."

This shell is virtually flawless: It shines like new, its 9 points in clear or milky white glass on the shell's outer rim are perfect and free of any chips. There are no cracks or chips anywhere that I can see. No scratches to report, either.

When holding the bowl up to a window, its light peach/nude-colored inside features shadowing of the pattern on its exterior (see last two photos) — a stunning sight.

It's difficult to capture how unique and alluring this art glass piece is: It's best to look at all the pictures and see for yourself.
