I purchased this Lance display jar approximately

18 years ago and added it to my extensive collection of Lance collectibles. I used it to store my freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that I loved to bake for visiting grandchildren. Time and tide wait for no man and they

are now grown and finishing college. I am 80 and preparing to down-size. It is time to find another grandmother, mom, baker or Lance collector.

Somewhere along the way, the lid got chipped. It is a fairly smooth chip and I have continued to use the lid. I never tried to get a replacement. I have photographed the damage. The lid fits inside the jar. The inside diameter measures 5.5” on the inside; it measures 7” edge to edge. With the lid the jar stand approximately 13” high and the opening is approximately 6.5”. The base is approximately 6.5 inches across.
