Vol 2 of this highly collectible collection of lyrics to some of the Beatles' best songs, selected & illustrated with fantastic psychedelic drawings by the young British designer who was a friend of the group, Alan Aldridge, complemented by other full-color images contributed by a wide-range of artists, including Peter Max, David Hockney, Erte, Ronald Searle, & more (listed on back DJ). Drawings & lyrics are interspersed with some autobiographical comments obtained from the Beatles themselves, in which they offer insider interpretations of what they were thinking when they wrote the songs. 125 pages, with psychedelic images of the Fab 4 in full color by Peter Max gracing the endpapers. The first page (between photo 3 and 4) was torn out. I have the loose page which I will include with purchase when shipping. It’s a fairly clean tear but you can see remnants of the bottom corner still attached to the spine in the photos.
