This rare hand blown iridescent, art glass vase sits on 4 iridescent balls 
catches different light rays at any angle with stunning effects.
Measures: 3"  tall, base 4 3 1/2" , Balls diameter 1 1/4"
Condition: great condition,
w/o any chips, nor breaks, the base is grounded there are scratches at the base as expected for age. 
Imperfections present and to be expected for its age, small bubbles are present.

   This iridescent decor from Harrach is called Glatt Iris. 
The invention of hot-shaped iridescent glass from Harrach is attributed to 
Chemist, Leo V. Pantocsek, the Technologist at J. G. Zahn Glassworks in Zlatno, Slovakia. 
The Glassworks of J. G. Zahn presented iridescent glass at the 1873 Worlds Fair in Vienna.
Harrach shared a great deal of interest in mastering the technique of Hot Shaping iridescent.
Production began around 1875-76 and continued into the early 1900's.
