This is a custom-ordered music box created by Sankyo a few years ago.
My husband, a former opera singer, loves music boxes, so we kept them carefully at home, but we have many of them and will be listing them.
Sankyo music boxes sound great and remain beautiful over time.
The more "valves" (diaphragm and comb teeth) that play the sound, the wider the range of sound and the richer the performance.
The diaphragm and comb teeth that repel the "valves" are tuned by experienced Japanese craftsmen by hand, one by one.
This resonant body is made of high-grade wood species. This material is used for furniture, It blends in well with any interior design.
Its simple design also makes it suitable as a gift.
