An exceptional value of a Most desirable fully bound body, C F Martin Type 2M Mahogany Soprano ukulele, circa 1950s. Martin ukes are noted for their workmanship and resonance, especially for  the vintage examples. Martin ukes are near, or at the top of the most respected ukes made. The famous Hawaiian singerIsrael Kamakawiwo'ole played a Martin tenor and was buried with his instrument. . This uke was stored for the last 40 years as part of an estate. The binding and finish are in exceptional condition with negligible blemishes. Of Note: A crack on the side was repaired by the acclaimed Chuck Bolt of Lake Elsinore , CA. This beauty is looking for a home where it can once again be played for all to enjoy!
