Faulty - Belling Range cooker

model 100Ei.  Bought from John Lewis 24th  June 2020.  Has developed an intermittent fault

E 2 fault on the hob.  This happens when

the oven gets hot sometimes and then turns the hob off. On the 6th April 2023 we had a Glen Dimplex Belling engineer inspect the cooker.  He was not sure of the issue so changed each. of the induction units and also the control sensor.  This lasted about 6 months and now get the same error. 

It’s ready to go now.

Maybe an easy fix for someone,

we have had enough so bought a new cooker.   

The error appears to be when the electronic control detects a high

temperature.  It usually happens for

example wen you cook a roast and have the oven on for longer than a pizza

etc.   It sometimes errors on its own

with no oven on.  Very strange.

We used it tonight, hob and

oven, no error.   It has a mind of its

own.

They are currently £1,749 in

John Lewis.

Easy to clean
